Orphan Party – Just 2 weeks to go!

Dear friends and family of IOP

With just two weeks to go, we are now in URGENT need of the listed items below to be able to take Christmas to our orphans. This is by far their most favourite time of year… Please help us make this happen!

Thank you to those of you who have helped us in beginning to pull these exciting four days together. Taking Christmas to the communities is a HUGE challenge!.

Our aim for each party is:

To bless these precious children, and those that take care of them with hot dogs, drinks, party packs and a home gift.
To collect the children’s school reports and to hand out their stationery for 2020.
To be able to purchase the essential school uniforms for 197 of our poorest orphans to attend school in 2021. NO UNIFORM means NO SCHOOL!
To share hope, joy and the love of Christ over Christmas in these poor communities – ‘See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.’ Isaiah 60:2 NIV

To do this, we need YOUR help with the following:

30 L Tomato Sauce
Family Christmas gift:
- 100 Face clothes
- 125 Bath soap
- 150 Washing powder
- 100 Toothpaste
- 129 Body lotion
- 75 Shoe brush
- 10 Shoe polish
- 240 Biscuits
- 240 buckets
Crucial: 197 Uniforms @ +/- R650 each = R130 000.
R3 000 for fuel for hired vans
450 Children’s masks (COVID-19 Safety)
340 Adults masks (COVID-19 Safety)
