The Power of Christmas

I'm so sorry for leaving this so late with only 21 days to go, we have only just finalized how to take the celebration of Christmas 2021 to our communities!

Taking on this challenge is always so scary! Our passion to make this world a better place drives us to bring Light, Joy, Peace, Hope and LOVE. We have a list of needs to make this happen. Please see at the end.

15 Dec 2021: Adult Day!
16 Dec to 19 Dec 2021: Children’s Christmas

Over 4 days we will go to 6 areas, covering 24 communities and blessing 350 children.

We will be collecting all the 2021 school reports and handing out stationary for 350 children for their 2022 school year. Our hugest expense of the year is our uniform bill. In January 2022 we will be purchasing uniforms for 187 orphans!

Chicken Briyani (or ingredients) for 400 adults
600 hotdogs (viennas and rolls)
25 L of tomato sauce
350 brown bags to hold hotdogs
750 Juice
Cake for 400 adults
350 party packs for children
Stationary for 350 children: Blue pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, coloured pencils, pencil case.
55 Calculators
170 Soccer balls (The ultimate beloved boys gift)
180 Nail polish or sorts for girls
187 @ R720 per uniform = R 134 640. Please know that every cent contributed helps so much to us being able to pay this.
A trailer to carry sound system, gifts and food for 4 days.
R4 000 for fuel for 2 vehicles for 4 days.
We would like to bless the amazing team of Izulu Orphan Projects and I Learn To Live with a staff Christmas party that is so far removed from their ordinary lives – Tenpin bowling and lunch for 32 people at Richards Bay Boardwalk Shopping Centre – R 8 680 (includes food, fuel and 2 x taxis)
